“Devil on Hwy 9” is the first single from Danzig's highly-anticipated new studio album, “Black Laden Crown.” The album marks the group's first set of original material in seven years and will be released later this month.
“King Of The Ring” is the first single from Adrenaline Mob’s next album “We The People”, and according to Wikipedia, the title, album artwork and some songs were inspired by the 2016 United States presidential election. They also recently announced new members bassist David "Dave Z" Zablidowsky and drummer Jordan Cannata.
“Your Last Breaths” is from the forthcoming Suffocation album ...Of the Dark Light” to be released on June 9, 2017 via Nuclear Blast. It is the first album to feature guitarist Charlie Errigo and drummer Eric Morotti, and marks the first music from the Long Island band in four years.
A double shot of Slaughter featured the demo version of “Mad About You”. While the band has not released a new album since 1999, they still play live for various festivals and Rock Cruises. The line-up features original members Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum along with Jeff Blando, who replaced Tim Kelly who died in a car accident in 1998. They had had several drummers as Blas Elias is now involved with the Blue man Group. Dana and Jeff also play in Vice Neil’s band.
Following the end of Slaughter’s recording days, Mark Slaughter found work as a voice-over actor and composes music for television, movies and sports outlets. In 2015, he released his first solo album titled “Reflections In A Rear View Mirror”, which includes the track “Away I Go” included in the playlist. Later this month, he will release his second solo record called "Halfway There" through EMP Label Group – the new label headed by David Ellefson of Megadeth.
Toy Solider by the Riverdogs was a last minute addition. The band formed in 1990 as a side project from Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell. It was announced today that the original members are back together and will release their fifth album, "California", on July 7. The rest of the band is Rob Lamothe on vocals and guitar, bassist Nick Brophy and drummer Marc Danzeisen.
I closed the show with new song from Mike Tramp. For those who did not keep track of his work after White Lion broke up, he has been quite successful. He fronted a band called Freak Of Nature during the 90s, did his own version of White Lion in 2004 and has released a string of solo albums. Earlier this year, he released the album “Maybe Tomorrow”, which charted at #1 on the vinyl chart and #2 on the physical album chart in his native Denmark.
