Michelle Johnson Band is an eclectic trippy blues rock band with a hard rock/ metal appeal. Hailing from Dallas/Forth Worth Texas, the MJB has been a band for over 8 years, with 2 cd releases. Michelle has a song writing style of her own,a haunting southern soulful voice, a grounded, solid rhythm guitar, with a love for story telling. Check out her 2007 release "Blistered by the Sun". It captures the feeling of young love and heartache with an indie rock ,cross over feel. It has a blend of americana, punk and classic rock, and is fun for any age of listener. MJ's 2nd release, "Struck by Lightning" is a hard rock album. It shows the influences of a broad spectrum of flavors, but has that classic MJB sound. Released in 2011, this will stand the test of time. All songs are well written hard rocking, melodic, and guitar driven. Both are up for listening www.michellejohnson.com or reverberation/michellejohnsonband.com

I am not a Cowboys fan but when I was in Dallas recently I had to go and checkout Cowboys Stadium (AT&T Stadium). I did the Self Guided VIP tour it was amazing you get to see everything besides Jerry Jones suite. I saw a regular suite, the press conference room, cheerleaders locker room players locker room. Got to go on the field and was able to take a pic of the Cowboys star logo on the 50 yard line. Definitely recommend it to any sports fan visiting Dallas.
Visited Dallas recently for a wedding and during my stay went looking for live Texas music. Heard about Koppur Thief from a friend in NY and told me when you go down to Texas go find this band and see if they are playing during your stay. Sure enough Koppur Thief was playing at Diamond Jim's Saloon in Arlington Texas.
Fronted by female vocalist Meia Foxy Mayhem Borden, Guitarist Johnny Macho and Dillan Potter on drums. For more information about Koppur Thief click on the following
